In 2009, Norwegian student Kristoffer Koch was writing a thesis on encryption. He came across a strange new technology — Bitcoin. Out of pure curiosity, he decided to give it a try: he exchanged 150 Norwegian kroner (about 27 dollars) and bought 5000 BTC. Bought — and... forgot. Life went on as usual: studying, working, everyday routine. The wallet with bitcoins was somewhere on the hard drive, and Kristoffer didn’t even remember it. In 2013, Bitcoin $BTC suddenly soared and made the news. Only then did the guy remember: "Oh, I had something there..." He dug into his old computer, found the seed phrase, opened the wallet... and was stunned. Those very 5000 BTC, bought for a measly 27 dollars, were now worth over 1 million dollars! One click — and an ordinary engineering student became a crypto-millionaire. Without trading, without leverage, without sleepless nights over charts. Just "bought and forgot" at the very beginning of the journey. And now imagine how many such stories we still don’t know... How many people in 2017–2021 bought ETH for 100–300$, SOL $SOL for pennies or tossed a couple of hundred into early meme coins — and now silently smile, looking at their portfolios. Why does this story hit right in the heart? Because it shows: sometimes the most powerful action is simply to start and not sell too early. You don’t need to be a genius, you don’t need to invest your last money, you don’t need to sit at the terminal 24/7. Just believe a little earlier than others and let time do its work. Today, in March 2026, when BTC is storming new heights again, and the market is waking up after the regulatory "green light", many are once again asking the question: $ETH What if I miss the next such moment?
The moral is simple: Don't be afraid of small entries.
Don't rush to sell on the first wave of emotions.
And most importantly — don't forget about your old wallets.
Who knows, maybe in a couple of years one of us will be telling our version of this story: 'I invested $100 in SOL in 2025...' Do you believe that such 'random millions' are still possible in 2026–2027?
