CITIZEN: I save money.
STATE: Wealth tax.
CITIZEN: Then I invest.
STATE: Tax on capital gains.
CITIZEN: I give a gift to someone.
STATE: Gift tax.
CITIZEN: Then I leave the money in the bank.
STATE: I will issue currency non-stop, I will erode your wealth through inflation.
CITIZEN: There's no way for me to win, so I die!
