Sign Protocol is an infrastructure protocol in the Web3 space focused on standardizing and verifying "signature"/"attestation" for data and identity both on-chain and off-chain. Instead of each application building its own verification system, Sign Protocol provides a foundational layer for projects, communities, or organizations to issue attestations such as: user verification, task completion, event participation, skill certification, KYC/KYB at an appropriate level, or reputation based on behavior. Thanks to the cryptographic signature mechanism and verifiability, these attestations can be reused across multiple dApps, helping to reduce duplication, increase interactivity, and enhance trust in decision-making (for example: whitelist, airdrop, decentralization, access granting). In terms of application, Sign Protocol is particularly useful for the SocialFi, GameFi ecosystems, and community programs as it supports creating transparent, independently verifiable "proofs", while still aiming for a flexible deployment experience for developers.
