General Dan Caine - Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States, stated that the U.S. military has begun deploying B-52 bombers in Iranian airspace, aimed at transitioning to attacking more flexible targets.
“With the increase in air superiority, we have started successfully conducting our first B-52 missions on land, which allows us, as previously mentioned, to continue overwhelming the enemy and transition to increasingly flexible targets,” General Dan Caine stated at a press conference at the Pentagon on the morning of March 31 (U.S. time).
General Dan Caine stated that just one month after the conflict with Iran began, the U.S. has attacked “more than 11,000 targets” across the country. The strikes in the past 30 days have helped the U.S. and Israel gain control of Iranian airspace.
“In the past 30 days, we have struck more than 11,000 targets. With an increasing air superiority, we have begun deploying B-52 missions on land, allowing us to continue to dominate the enemy,” said Mr. Caine.
“We have sunk more than 150 ships, including all Jamaran-class destroyers in their naval forces. We continue to target their defense industrial base on a large scale, including factories, warehouses, nuclear research and development laboratories, and related infrastructure,” he said.
