We continue... Why does Venezuela keep using USDT?

Simple and fast transactions

The lack of foreign currency and the limitations of the banking system have generated a singular phenomenon in today's Venezuela: today, 100 USDT can yield more than 100 dollars in cash.

USDT allows sending money to businesses anywhere in the world in seconds and without exposing oneself to the risk of carrying cash.

In a country where transactions in bolívares continue to be characterized by bureaucracy and recurring failures of the banking systems, USDT offers almost instant and global transfers, executed on networks like TRON (TRX) or ERC-20, with minimal costs per operation.

Today, paying with USDT has become quite common in Venezuela. From supermarkets to delivery services, numerous businesses and providers accept this stablecoin, which has consolidated as a fundamental anchor in a crisis economy.

At this point, it is important to mention that, in recent weeks, the bolívar has rapidly depreciated again, reaching 187.28 bolívares per dollar according to the Central Bank's page. Meanwhile, USDT is trading in the P2P market of Binance between 297.780 and 298.650 bolívares for sale, showing a significant difference compared to the local currency.
