The Iranian military today, April 2, declared that Tehran will continue the war in the Middle East until the U.S. and Israel face the situation of 'surrendering and regretting forever.'

The Iranian military issued a tough statement a few hours after U.S. President Donald Trump said that Washington would deliver an "extremely strong" blow to Iran within weeks, even though Iran "has essentially been devastated" and the U.S. is on track to achieve its military objectives, according to Reuters.

The spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Command of Iran, Ebrahim Zolfaqari, responded that the assessments of the United States and Israel regarding Iran's military capabilities are "incomplete." He further stated that Iran will escalate military actions, with attacks that are "more severe, broader, and more devastating" aimed at its adversaries.

Previously, the Israeli military announced that the air defense system responded to Iranian missile launches early on April 2, including at least 2 attacks after President Trump made the statement.
