Attention, community! 🚨
In the crypto world, your security is your responsibility. Phishing is the most commonly used technique by scammers to steal your keys and funds. How do they do it? By pretending to be Binance through emails, SMS, or fake websites.
Here are 5 golden rules so you never get caught:
Always verify the URL 🌐
Before entering your data, make sure you are on binance.com. Scammers use similar names like "https://www.google.com/search?q=binance-support.com" or "binnance.com". Beware of extra letters!
Activate your Anti-Phishing Code 🔑
This is the best tool from Binance. Set up a unique code in your security; if you receive an email from Binance and it does NOT have that code, it is fake. It's that simple!
Binance will NEVER ask you for your keys via message 🚫
Neither via WhatsApp, nor via Telegram, nor via email. If someone asks you for your password or your 2FA code claiming to be from "Binance Support", it is a scam! Block them immediately.
Beware of "Strange Prizes" 🎁
If you receive a message saying that you won 1 BTC but you need to deposit something first or click on a suspicious link... Run! If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Use Two-Step Verification (2FA) 📱
Use Google Authenticator or physical security keys (YubiKey). Avoid relying solely on SMS, as it is easier to hack.
💡 Security Tip: If you have doubts about a link or an email, use Binance Verify on the official website to check if the source is legitimate.
Have you already set up your Anti-Phishing code? If you don’t know how, ask me in the comments and I’ll help you! 👇🛡️ STOP Lies, you cannot let anyone help you more than the guides provided by Binance or their technical support... Be alert to that...
