Oil at $110+ and inflation — why is this currently the biggest threat to $BTC in 2026? 🔥📉
Brent has soared to $108–116 due to the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz (20% of the world's oil). I just checked: this is already putting pressure on crypto!
Here’s how it works (simple chain):
1. Oil → inflation More expensive fuel = higher transportation and production costs. The US CPI has already jumped, Powell directly said: "oil shock shows up in data".
2. Inflation → Fed Rates remain high (3.5–3.75%). Rate cuts are delayed — less cheap money in the market.
3. Fed → crypto Stronger dollar + less liquidity = risk-off. $BTC is falling because investors are fleeing to 'safe' assets.
But there is light at the end: if oil stabilizes around $90–100, inflation will cool — and BTC will soar to $80K+ (as it did after previous shocks).
