Zaheer Ebtikar is winding down Split Capital and joining Plasma as chief strategy officer after saying more than $100 billion in crypto venture funding has returned the market to a humbling baseline. Ebtikar said Split Capital was profitable in both years and returned outside investors an eight-figure amount during the wind-down. At Plasma, Ebtikar will lead partnerships, investor relations, product development, and the go-to-market plan for Plasma One, a chain for stablecoin distribution and settlement.
