The U.S. President raises his tone and threatens the destruction of "a whole civilization" if Tehran does not open the Strait of Hormuz.
On Tuesday, U.S. President Donald Trump made another threat against Tehran, stating that "a whole civilization will perish tonight, and it can never be brought back."
"I don't want this to happen, but it probably will," says Trump's message on his social platform Truth.
"However, now that we have had a complete and total regime change, where other, smarter, and less radically inclined minds prevail, something revolutionarily beautiful may happen, who knows?"
"We will learn this tonight, at one of the most important moments in the long and complicated history of the world," said Trump. "47 years of extortion, corruption, and death will finally come to an end. God bless the great people of Iran."
