Bridge, the stablecoin infrastructure arm of Stripe, has applied for a national bank trust charter — aiming to expand its stablecoin operations.

Co-founder Zach Abrams said the license would enable Bridge to “tokenize trillions of dollars” and integrate deeper into the U.S. financial system.
