The Harvester mining machine NFT for the blockchain game RealGo will be on sale at 7 PM on April 8.

I just want to say a few words in the middle of the night, not to downplay the RealGo project; in fact, I have already spent close to 200u in this game, but I am still observing and have not bought the three newly released Harvester mining machine NFTs today.

The main issue is the price structure of these few mining machine NFTs, which I find a bit difficult to understand.

1. The highest-level SSR mining machine costs 0.5bnb, with a mining power of 1240; next is the mid-level SR mining machine at 0.25bnb, with a mining power of 440; and lastly, the low-level S mining machine at 0.1bnb, with a mining power of 150.

This price and mining capability structure really makes it hard for people to take the plunge. I think the highest-level mining machine is a bit expensive; the market isn't great right now, and it's hard to say when I'll break even, so I have no plans to buy the most expensive one. A couple of years ago at this time, I bought Bigtime/Seraph NFTs for 2000u each without a second thought; after learning from my mistakes, I now spend money on NFTs very cautiously.

However, seeing the mining power of the two low-level mining machines so poor, I don't want to buy them and feel it's a bit silly to do so. Spending half the money to buy an SR mining machine only gets me 1/3 of the mining power of an SSR mining machine, which feels like a loss and I can't bring myself to do it.

The price of NFT mining machines and the structure ratio of mining power are the biggest setbacks that deter me.

2. After buying the mining machine, I also need to buy a mine pit. I currently have two mining machines; the green mining machine should be a gift from the game, while the blue mining machine was synthesized after I spent quite a bit of money on materials. The blue mining machine occupies a mine pit and is already mining. If I buy another NFT mining machine, I will need to buy another mine pit, which costs 8000 gems, equivalent to 63u. NFT buyers can purchase mine pits at half price, which also adds 31u to the cost.

Currently, players can automatically obtain a mine pit when they upgrade their character to level 30 or above, but I am only level 17 now, and after playing for more than ten days, I estimate that it will take at least another week to reach level 30.

So even if I buy an NFT, I can't mine immediately; I still need to spend 31u to buy a mine pit, or abandon the blue mining machine that I worked hard to synthesize and give this mine pit to the newly bought NFT mining machine. No matter how I look at it, it doesn't seem very satisfactory; this counts as the second setback.

3. Only the first 100 buyers of NFT mining machines can receive a free mine pit. I couldn't make it into the top 100 due to family matters tonight, and after the 100th purchase, there are very few discounts for NFT mining machines, which is another setback.

4. Mining machines mine in the core field, and after a while, I need to go back to add some RT token fragments. If I don't add them on time, the mining machine will stop by itself. I don't play these games full-time, and when I get busy, I really don't have time to open the game every few hours to add materials, so I've already wasted a lot of mining power from my blue mining machine. If I buy another expensive mining machine, I'm afraid I'll waste even more, or my time will be trapped by this high-priced mining machine, which is also a setback.

The design of adding RT fragments on a timer is quite annoying. It would be better if it could be improved, for example, by allowing players to add them all at once, with extra fragments refunded, or automatically deducting RT fragments from the user's account once they run out in the mining machine. That would greatly improve the experience.

However, I still want to congratulate players who bought SSR mining machines, especially those who were among the first 100 buyers; the benefits are really good.

The project team may need to consider some situations that may occur in the future:

1. Players who do not buy NFT mining machines are very likely to lose some of their player base.

The reason is: the mining power of NFT mining machines is too different from the ordinary mining machines that players synthesize in the game.

The blue mining machine I synthesized only has a mining power of 14 (the blue box part in the image below), while the NFT mining machine has a mining power of 1240/440/150. They are not even in the same league. If the gap is too large while mining in the same core field, players without NFTs may not want to play anymore.

2. The advantages of the highest-level SSR mining machine are too obvious, making it difficult to sell SR and S mining machines. The current NFT sales data already reflects this.

If the project team investigates player feedback and provides some compensation for the last two types of mining machines, I think they could be sold faster. The important thing is not to make players feel that buying the last two types of mining machines is a waste.

The above sharing is purely my personal opinion, and I may not have explored some gameplay details yet. Feel free to leave comments to discuss while playing.
