Ukraine seeks security cooperation with Iraq and African nations - Zelenskyy
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine is in communication with nine countries regarding security matters.
“At this stage, Ukraine is engaged in security-related communication with Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Jordan, Turkey, Syria, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain. We have received requests regarding cooperation with Iraq. Today we discussed the potential for joint work with the states of the Caucasus, as well as East and Southeast Asia. There are substantive requests from African states. We are also laying the groundwork for deeper security agreements in Europe—we expect to achieve results as early as this week,” Zelenskyy noted.
He instructed Umerov to finalize the drafts of several new security agreements and prepare them for signing.
