CZ: Projects that continue to develop through multiple bull and bear cycles possess true long-term value
Binance founder and former CEO Zhao Changpeng (CZ) stated during the Binance Square AMA event that GitHub submission activity is the primary indicator he uses to assess the long-term value of cryptocurrency projects. He believes that continuous development across multiple market cycles can better indicate a project's quality than price trends. CZ cited QTUM and NEO as examples, pointing out that both attracted widespread attention in 2017 but saw a significant decline in development activity afterward. He added that a founder's historical track record is equally crucial—if a founder changes projects every two years, the new project's expected lifespan may also be limited. CZ believes that the current bear market environment serves as a natural filter to identify truly mission-driven entrepreneurs.
