Yesterday at the Zerakulll Academy we learned slang, and today we will break down the fundamentals. If you don't understand what blockchain is, then cryptocurrency for you is just numbers on the screen. Let's fix that in 2 minutes!

⛓️ What is Blockchain really?

Imagine we have a shared box of candies in the office.

Every time someone takes a candy or puts a new one, we record this in a special notebook: "Oleg took 2 candies", "Marina put down 5".

Features of this notebook:

Copies everywhere: This notebook is not the only one. Everyone has their own copy.

Impossible to forge: If Oleg wants to quietly cross out his record to make it seem like he didn't take any candies — his notebook will stop matching the notebooks of all the others. The team will immediately say: "Oleg, you are a fraud!".

Blocks and the chain: Each page of the notebook is a Block. When it ends, we seal it and place a unique stamp that depends on what was on the previous page. This forms the Chain.

🚀 Why did this change the world?

In the ordinary world, we trust banks. A bank is like "one notebook" that they keep in their safe. We do not see what they write there.

In crypto, blockchain is transparency. Everyone can verify a transaction, but no one can delete or change it.

💡 What does this give us in trading?

When you buy $BTC or $BNB, the record that these coins are now yours is permanently etched in thousands of such "notebooks" around the world. This is the most reliable property protection system in history.

📝 Homework:

Do you think it's possible to "turn off" the Bitcoin blockchain if the internet is turned off in one country? Share your thoughts in the comments! 👇

Tomorrow in Lesson #3 we will discuss: where to store these "digital candies" — choosing between an exchange and a wallet.
