I have been watching Walrus for a few days. It has become one of the rare projects that combines privacy, security, and storage on Sui. They have solved both the DeFi and data storage aspects under the same roof.

🔹 There is user privacy; no one can snoop into anyone else's wallet.

🔹 Data is distributed to different points of the network using RedStuff coding, not on centralized servers.

🔹 Everything from NFT visuals to game assets, to AI datasets can be stored on-chain in a programmable manner.

You can also stake the $WAL token, participate in governance, and pay for storage fees with it, among other features. In short, both the security and economy of the network are built on WAL.

The team's background is solid. There are signatures from Evan Cheng, Sam Blackshear, and Adeniyi Abiodun, who are among the founders of Sui. They have already received 140M$ in investments, backed by big names like a16z, Electric Capital, and Standard Crypto.

They are building an infrastructure that combines data privacy, storage, and finance. In a way, we can think of it as "on-chain Dropbox + secret DeFi." If this structure holds, it could be the backbone of not only Sui but also the multi-chain Web3 ecosystem.

As developments come in, I will keep an eye on this project.
