Web3 gaming is broken.

Yeah… I said it.

Most of these “games” are just token farms with better graphics. Log in → grind → dump → repeat. I’ve seen it too many times.

Then I tried Pixels…

And look—I’m usually the first one to call out ponzinomics. I don’t get impressed easily anymore. But this felt… off. In a good way.

I spent two hours just walking around and chatting, and I didn’t even check the token price once. That never happens. That was the moment.

No pressure. No “earn fast before it dies” vibe. Just… playing.

I’m tired of being a “user” or a “liquidity provider” in a game. I just want to be a player for once.

If the rewards slow down, people might actually stick. And if that happens… doesn’t that flip the whole GameFi narrative?
