Hello Binance Friends.

Continuing with what I like to write about, I comment on the behavior of USDT: Why so much calm (and drops)?

It's curious to see USDT "still" or even retreating, when historically compared to a Bolívar that tends to constant devaluation. For this first half of April 2026, there are key factors that explain this phenomenon such as:

• Massive injection of digital currencies: The Central Bank (BCV) and the Executive changed strategy. Instead of relying on cash suitcases (which are scarce on the street), they are receiving oil revenues directly into international accounts. This allows injecting between $300 and $500 million electronically into the banking system, stabilizing supply and curbing upward pressure in P2P.

• Adjustment for "overpricing": We come from a beginning of the year where the gap between the official dollar and the parallel was very high. What we are seeing is a natural correction or "over-adjustment". When the market feels that the price has risen too quickly without a real consumption basis, the dollar tends to drop until it finds equilibrium.

• Fewer Bolívares in circulation: A policy of credit restriction and control of the issuance of bolívares has been maintained. If there are no "surplus" bolívares, fewer people are buying USDT, which drives down the price.

. The "Breath" to Public Banking:

What happened on April 14, 2026, is probably the most important geopolitical movement for the Venezuelan financial system in years. Lifting of Restrictions and enabling new licenses (especially License General No. 57) by the USA. This license allows the BCV to conduct operations in the U.S. financial system. It also allows for the services of correspondent or public Venezuelan banking in dollars at the national and international level. And finally, the Recovery of international management capacity.

The OFAC clarified that this is not a total lifting, but a "selective flexibilization". Depending on how the political landscape evolves, these licenses could be renewed or revoked. For now, it is the main reason why the market feels "flooded" with options and the dollar/USDT is losing strength against the bolívar.

To conclude, I hope that the exploitation of our resources truly serves the global benefit and not just a few pockets as has been happening for some time.
