You don't sit in the morning and think that 'that's it, today I will definitely go to PIXELS.' It just happens somehow. Between tasks and messages. Opened something, glanced at it, then closed it. By yourself, so you didn't even pay attention. Sometimes I even wonder how one can develop such a habit.

And then you catch yourself thinking that you were there yesterday. And the day before yesterday too.

And the funny thing is that it doesn't feel like an addiction. There is no feeling that something is pulling you or forcing you. Everything seems... normal. Just a small habit. Like checking your phone for no reason or scrolling through the feed 'for a minute.' From my experience, I can say that this does not gnaw at me as an addiction, but rather looks like curiosity about something new.

PIXELS is just about such little things. You don't need to do something big. You log in, collect something, update something, and move on. A few minutes, as if nothing serious. But this is the focus, you do it regularly. If from my point of view it doesn't turn into an addiction, then it looks quite nice.

And this is where it starts to get interesting. At first, you enter because it's really intriguing. Then it's like, 'well, I need to check it.' And then you don't even think about it. You just log in. Like a machine.

And it's hard to say exactly where this changed. There is no clear boundary.

So the question isn't even about the game. The question is about you. You really decide when to log in — is it already part of your day, like coffee or having your phone in hand?

There doesn't necessarily have to be something bad about it. Half of our life consists of habits. But there is one nuance: some you notice, while others live on their own.

And here are PIXELS — somewhere from the second category. And, honestly, sometimes it's even more interesting than the game itself. Because you start to see not numbers or progress, but how your behavior changes. Quietly, without noise. And not always under your control. I think the project is quite interesting, and as I already wrote, you just need not to turn everything into an addiction.
