Everyone keeps calling Pixels (PIXEL) “different” but I’ve heard that before. Too many times. Most Web3 games start with big talk and end up as grindy messes or token farms disguised as fun.
Right now it’s just farming, walking around, doing simple tasks. It’s chill, I’ll give it that. Not screaming at you to spend or chase hype every second. That’s rare in this space.
But I’m not blind to how this usually goes. Things start simple, then the economy kicks in, and suddenly it’s not about playing anymore. It’s about efficiency. About not falling behind.
I just want a game that works. No constant pressure. No “you’re early, trust the process” nonsense. Just something you can open, play a bit, and not feel like you’re doing a second job.
