I didn’t go into Pixels expecting anything serious. Just opened it, played a bit, did some farming, traded a little, nothing planned. Usually I drop games like this fast, but this one kinda stuck. At first I ignored all that player driven economy stuff in the whitepaper, didn’t really care. But after some time it just started making sense on its own. Like whatever I do actually changes what I get back, even small things. There’s no shortcut where I can just pay and skip everything, I actually have to be there and play. It’s still rough, some things don’t work that well, but it doesn’t feel fake. That’s probably why I keep opening it again to see what happens next.
