🚨 Official Notice: Security Vulnerability at @Gateio and a Fraud of $73,500 🚨

This is an update for public accountability regarding a phishing fraud resulting from a critical security vulnerability at Gate.io.

📜 Timeline of negligence:

1. August 19-24, 2025: Legal communication via official ticket number 1559767
2. August 25, 2025: Phishing email from listing@gate.com (no DMARC policy) led to the theft of $73,500
3. October 20, 2025: Gate.io request for evidence submitted late after the deadline

🔐 Technical root cause:
• DKIM valid, but it is for zendesk.com, not gate.com
• No DMARC policy on the gate.com domain
• A fundamental email security flaw enabled this scam
