🚨 Zcash Releases Security Updates – zcashd v6.12.1 & Zebra v4.3.1 Live 🔒
Zcash has rolled out important software upgrades to patch four vulnerabilities that could have caused node crashes or potential consensus splits.
• zcashd v6.12.1 (official client)
• Zebra v4.3.1 (Rust-based client from Zcash Foundation)
The issues were identified and fixed proactively. Mining pools using both clients have already applied the patches.
Official Assurance:
No signs of exploitation so far. Funds, privacy, and ZEC supply remain fully secure.
Users and node operators are strongly encouraged to upgrade to the latest versions immediately for continued protection.
