Is Smart Money Quietly Rotating Before the Next Altseason?

In every crypto market cycle, liquidity does not move randomly. Historically, capital flows first into $BTC as the primary market anchor, then gradually rotates toward $ETH, and finally expands into mid- and small-cap altcoins.

Recent structural indicators suggest that the market may be entering the second transition phase of this cycle. One key signal is the stabilization of BTC Dominance after a strong upward move, which often precedes broader capital expansion into altcoins.

At the same time, institutional attention is increasingly shifting toward Layer2 infrastructure and Real World Assets (RWA), while trading activity in sectors like AI, GameFi, and DePIN has accelerated compared to previous quarters.

From a market-structure perspective, this stage does not necessarily confirm the start of Altseason yet. Instead, it reflects what analysts describe as a “smart liquidity repositioning phase” — a period that historically comes before major altcoin expansions.
