$COMP shorted!!
24.8 shorted 20,000, everyone is watching $AAVE being stolen 250 million, yet no one really understands the risks of COMP.
Compound recently also suffered from a hacker stealing coins, losing more than 30 million dollars.
Looking at the amount, it indeed seems small, but compared to TVL, the problem becomes clear:
COMP's total locked amount is only 1.5 billion, while Aave has over 20 billion.
In terms of actual loss proportion, COMP is much more severely affected than Aave.
Plus, there were large on-chain sell-offs (4.15)
Robinhood exchange transferred 1.24 million COMP (over 26 million dollars) to an anonymous wallet.
Whales continue to withdraw and exit, the selling pressure persists.
Additionally, the market makers are deliberately controlling the market, creating a large negative funding rate to lure in long positions,
intentionally manufacturing a false impression of a squeeze to deceive bulls into entering.
The bad news has not been fully digested, and the price of the coin shows no reaction, which is clearly unreasonable.
When the market comes to its senses and understands the real risks, COMP will definitely experience a rapid drop.
