Let me Explain... I keep logging in to Pixels and somehow remaining there longer than intended. No particular objective in mind. Only the loop repeating itself. Planting, harvesting, crafting. Energies depleting, replenishing. Coins accumulating as usual.
Initially, it seems productive enough. As if something is coming together, something meaningful. However, as the minutes pass, it becomes increasingly difficult to maintain that illusion.
For most part, the activity generates no tangible value. It takes place within a closed environment, rapid, efficient, off-chain. Frictionless, free, with no way out. Just repetition.
PIXEL operates in an entirely different fashion. Slower, more limited, filtered by certain parameters. Not everything gets there.
This dichotomy does not seem coincidental anymore. Action does not equate to value.
Moreover, even further down the rabbit hole play is the priority. In theory, at least. For without play, regardless of its efficiency, any system fails to retain its participants.
