@Pixels
Been watching Web3 games come and go for a few years now. Most of them follow the same script. Big token launch a few months of hype then silence.
Pixels is still here. Still growing.
Chapter 3 added something called Unions. Basically groups of players that farm compete, and earn together. Your rewards depend on how your group performs, not just your own grind. That one change makes you actually care about the people you play with, which is something most Web3 games never figure out.
They also introduced vPIXEL alongside it. Spend inside the game and it costs you nothing. Want to pull real $PIXEL out to sell? You pay a fee. It sounds like a small thing but it keeps money moving around inside the game instead of getting dumped every time someone earns a reward.
What I like about this is that both updates push in the same direction. Unions give you a reason to keep playing. vPIXEL makes staying more attractive than leaving. That is not an accident.
And the numbers back it up. Over 1 million daily active players. Not from a hype wave. From two years of quiet, consistent work on the actual game.
Most projects in this space launched a token and called it a product. Pixels launched a game and built the token around it. That difference shows.
How many Web3 games from 2023 are you still actually playing today?
