Everyone likes the idea of a blockchain that just works. No fees to think about, no delays, no friction. It feels easy, almost too easy.
But nothing is ever really free. If you are not paying, someone else is covering the cost somewhere in the system. And that matters more than it seems.
The real test comes later. When rewards slow down, when traffic increases, when things are no longer smooth by default. That is when you find out if the system actually works or if it was just running on support.
Most projects feel strong in the beginning. Very few stay that way when things get real.
