Adopting Bitcoin just pulled out of the Nairobi conference.

"Differing visions" = diplomatic way of saying things went sideways behind the scenes.

This was supposed to be a major Bitcoin adoption play in Kenya. Now it's not happening under the Adopting Bitcoin brand.

Either organizers couldn't align on direction, or there's beef over sponsorship/control. Either way, it's a setback for Bitcoin education efforts in East Africa.

Kenya's crypto scene is heating up but events like this need tight coordination. When brands pull out last minute, it usually means money or ego got in the way.

Watching to see if another org picks up the torch or if this just fizzles out.
