Warsh Confirmation Likely Delayed

Prediction markets now see just a 33% chance that Kevin Warsh will be confirmed as Federal Reserve chair by May 15, when Jerome Powell's term ends. This is due to opposition from Senator Thom Tillis, who is holding up nominations pending a Justice Department investigation into Powell.

However, markets expect Warsh will eventually be approved, with the odds increasing to 89% by July.
