The most ethical thing is always to side with the most vulnerable, fighting for their rights and improving their living conditions. But I don't get why that imperative has mixed with hedonism and disdain for values like loyalty, sacrifice, prudence, or decorum. The most revolutionary and anti-capitalist mindset is to think of others, putting aside our individual desires. Caring for a mother with Alzheimer's, educating the kids, supporting your partner in the fight against illness, or helping the foreigner who suffers material hardships is the most radical way to take on the heavens.
