U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a strong statement on social media, warning that โa very bad time is coming for Iran.โ ๐ฎ๐ท
According to him, Iran is facing internal confusion over leadership, and tensions are rapidly escalating.
Trump also claimed that no vessel will be allowed to enter the Strait of Hormuz without approval from the U.S. Navy. He stated that American mine-sweeping operations are currently underway to clear the route, ensuring control over the vital shipping lane.
He further warned that any boats involved in planting sea mines in the Strait would be targeted and destroyed, adding that orders have already been issued to take action against Iranian vessels.
In a dramatic claim, Trump said the U.S. has already sunk 159 Iranian naval ships and now maintains full control over the Strait. He concluded by saying that if Iran fails to reach a deal, the Strait of Hormuz could be shut down completely.
