If you are raised with chickensā¦
ā¦you learn to scratch the ground.
To hide from shadows.
To look at the ground and not at the sky.
Even if you were born to fly,
if no one teaches youā¦
if everyone around you only knows how to walkā¦
you end up believing that you are also a chicken.
That happened to the eaglet.
It fell from its nest during a stormā¦
and grew up in a chicken coop.
No one taught it to fly.
They only told it how to survive.
And so it lived: strong, with large wingsā¦
but hunched.
Until one dayā¦
an old eagle passed by.
Free. Majestic.
And upon seeing it there, she shouted:
āWhat are you doing down there?!
āI'm a chicken! āhe replied.
She came down, looked him in the eyes, and said:
āLook closely. Look at your wings. Look at your shadow.
She took him to a puddle.
And upon seeing its reflection, he understoodā¦
He was never a chicken.
He was always an eagle.
That day, he flapped his wings.
Onceā¦
Twiceā¦
And on the third⦠he flew.
⨠If you feel like you donāt fit in, that you are made for more⦠donāt be confused.
Maybe youāre not broken.
Maybe you just grew up in the wrong pen.
You were not born to stay on the ground.
You were born to touch the sky. š¦
