Everything feels completely messed up right now. Nothing seems to be going in my favor, so I’m posting this hoping to get some advice from experienced people.
I invested my savings back in January. At first, things were going well—I made some decent profits in spot trading and also gained a good amount in futures. But in February, everything started going downhill. I was up about $380 in futures PnL, but then I kept losing, and somehow I not only lost that $380 profit but also an additional $380 from my own capital.
After that, I still had around $1600 invested in spot and even kept adding more to my position. Recently, I needed some money urgently, so I ended up selling my ETH at a loss and withdrew some funds. Now I’m left with about $1100.
The worst part is that I sold my ETH at $2250, and right after I sold, the price shot up and hasn’t dropped since. Now I’m really confused—should I buy back in at this higher price, or wait for a dip that may or may not happen? I don’t want to lose even a single dollar anymore. I can handle temporary drawdowns, but I really don’t want to realize another loss.
I’d really appreciate any suggestions on what I should do.
