A Middle-Aged Man's Self-Narration
As I reach middle age and my education level is not high, I dropped out of school and entered society early. Over the years, I have worked in various trades: fruit supermarkets, braised meat shops, barbershops, even selling new energy vehicles and doing food delivery. I have been struggling for a living every day, and the pressure of life has always been considerable. Fortunately, my family is relatively harmonious, and I have bought a house in the city; my children are sensible and diligent, which has relieved me of much worry.
In 2019, I encountered some changes, my business couldn't continue, and my children were gradually growing up, needing more money, and the pressure was overwhelming. Fortunately, I learned to 'scientifically surf the internet' out of curiosity in my early years and had some knowledge of digital currency—though it was only at a 'knowing' level. By chance, a friend invited me for tea and talked about a so-called 'blockchain mining project.' Looking back now, it was nothing but a pyramid scheme: encouraging investments and recruiting people. I had no money and no intention of participating, but that conversation left me with two words: USDT, and how to buy coins.
