Trump cancels Iran peace talks as U.S. naval blockade enters third week
Trump cancelled envoy trips to Pakistan for Iran talks on Saturday, the second scrapped diplomatic effort in a week, citing "infighting" among Iran's leadership.
The U.S. naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz has redirected over 30 vessels since 13 April, while Iran has closed the waterway entirely to foreign shipping.
Brent crude has topped $100 a barrel as the IEA calls the disruption the "largest supply disruption in the history of the global oil market."
