WASHINGTON, October 29 - Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell believes that the divide over policy in the U.S. central bank and the lack of data from the federal government could make another interest rate cut this year out of reach, while acknowledging the threats that officials see to the job market as well as the risky nature of taking further interest rate actions without a fuller picture of the economy. The Federal Reserve (Fed) cut interest rates by 0.25 percentage points, as expected, as a measure to curb any weakening in the job market.
