Badr Albusaidi said he held “good discussions” with Abbas Araghchi regarding the Strait of Hormuz.
The talks focused on maritime safety, regional cooperation, and freedom of navigation, with both sides emphasizing their shared responsibility as coastal states. A key point raised was the urgent need to secure the release of seafarers who have been affected during ongoing tensions in the region.
The Omani side stressed that only diplomacy and practical solutions can ensure long-term stability and safe transit through the waterway.
