The world is a temporary abode, not a permanent place to live.

Allah says:

And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of pride" (Al-Imran: 185)

Translation: The life of this world is just a means of deception. The world has been given to us as a test. Here there is joy, sorrow, ease, and testing. The real life is in the Hereafter, where we will live forever.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The world is the prison of the believer and the paradise of the disbeliever.” (Muslim)

Translation: The world is a prison for the believer and a paradise for the unbeliever. That is, the believer does not make the world an objective, but rather considers it a means of preparation for the Hereafter.

Lesson: Keep the world in your hands, not in your heart. Earn good deeds, do good to people, because the real success is the success of the hereafter.
