It's official: the tokenization of real-world assets (RWA) just took the biggest leap towards institutional adoption.

The Ondo Finance project has brought in financial giant Broadridge (which services over 90% of global banks) to bridge your crypto wallets with the real economy.

Why does this change the game? 💎

Until now, tokenized shares were often perceived as 'synthetic' assets. Ondo and Broadridge are breaking this stereotype. Now, owners of over 250 tokenized shares and ETFs on Ondo have features that were previously only available through traditional brokers:

🔹 Proxy voting via Web3 wallet: Now you can participate in corporate governance (vote on decisions for companies like Apple or Tesla) directly through your crypto wallet.

🔹 Transparency and audit: The reporting line between TradFi and DeFi is blurred. It’s now clearly defined how your votes are transmitted to the underlying shares.

🔹 Governance as a Service: This solves the headache for regulators — the token now carries the full functionality and rights of a real asset.

This is exactly what Daniel Gurreri was talking about:

‘Providing investors with the same level of audit, transparency, and regulatory compliance will significantly boost the scaling of the tokenized world, ensuring this level of trust for end investors.’

My take 🧠

This is the end of the 'paper money' era. Ondo Finance is effectively building the infrastructure that transforms your crypto assets into full-fledged financial instruments with all the rights. This is the mass adoption we've been waiting for. RWA is no longer just a trend; it’s becoming the new standard in the global market.

Do you think the ability to vote on corporate shares through MetaMask will drive mass migration of investors from the stock market to crypto? What asset would you like to see tokenized next? 👇
