market cap is just price x total supply

but here's why it actually matters 👇
a coin at $0.001 isn't cheap
a coin at $50,000 isn't expensive
what matters is the market cap behind the price
$BTC at $80k with a $1.6T market cap needs trillions to 2x
an unknown coin at $10M market cap needs almost nothing
same % gain. completely different amount of money required to move it
that's why small caps can 100x and $BTC won't
lower market cap = less money needed = more volatile in both directions
before you buy anything
look up the market cap first
the price per coin means nothing without it
