$uPEG is pretty interesting. The new NFT gameplay after UniSwap upgraded to V4
Two days ago, after the founder of OpenSea bought in, it skyrocketed 8 times. Its market cap is around 8M now, and the hype is gradually building up.
Essentially, it's still part of the coin image series, but it doesn't adhere to the original 1 coin bound to 1 image model. Instead, it randomly combines through the liquidity of swaps.
To buy $uPEG, you need to get more than 1; this will grant you an NFT, but it might not be a complete one. You could end up with fragments, and enough fragments can randomly combine to form an NFT. Each NFT is linked to a specific amount of ePEG, and if you hold less than 1, you can only get a portion of the NFT ownership.
This new gameplay is worth keeping an eye on. The current 8M market cap has been pumped up in a short time; we can wait and see. After a pullback, it might be a good time to grab an NFT. If you’re not into NFTs and just want to play around with some small amounts, you could set a buy limit. The expectation of a price increase as the hype builds up looks pretty solid.
Innovation in the crypto space is now a scarce attribute. If there’s innovation, you better hop on it; otherwise, you’ll be waiting ages for the next opportunity.
Also, just to mention, $pPEG is part of the knockoff series, featuring the punk series of NFTs. It just launched 2 days ago and the price is still relatively low, with a market cap of 200K. It's like a lottery series; if the leading ones explode, getting a taste of the knockoff isn’t a bad idea. If you think the leaders are overpriced, buying a bit of lottery tickets is also fine.
