KelpDAO has publicly blamed LayerZero for an April cross-chain bridge exploit that allegedly drained around 116,500 rsETH (≈ $292M). KelpDAO says the breach traces back to a compromised 1:1 validator configuration that was approved by LayerZero personnel. After the incident, KelpDAO announced it will move away from LayerZero and adopt Chainlink’s cross-chain infrastructure to strengthen security.
