The Pakistan Navyโs newly commissioned Hangor-class submarine PNS/M Hangor arrived at Kota Kinabalu naval base in Malaysia on 8 May 2026.
The submarine is on a logistical stopover for replenishment of supplies, maintenance adjustments and crew rest before continuing its voyage back to Pakistan. The port call was attended by the Commander of the Malaysian Navyโs Submarine Force and the Deputy Commander of the Eastern Fleet.
PNS/M Hangor is sailing in company with the Type 054AP frigate PNS Taimur, which is also visiting the same Malaysian port. Both Pakistani warships will proceed together to their home base.
