ZachXBT is back on the grind and quickly flagged some suspicious activity on the UMA adapter for Polymarket on Polygon ( $POL ). It turned out to be an old private key from an internal operational wallet that got compromised.
Polymarket confirmed that user funds were never at risk, as they’ve rotated the affected keys and managed to recover part of the amount with help from the community.
These episodes remind us that in DeFi, security is a constant hustle, especially with outdated setups. Have you ever had to check permissions or approvals due to something similar?
