$USDC $Beware of this new type of P2P scam!!!
I almost lost $100 due to a scam attempt in P2P transactions on Binance and another P2P exchange.
I received a $100 buy request on Binance. The buyer confirmed the payment and asked me to release the coins. Since I had already received the funds, I was about to release the trade, but I asked him to provide proof of payment. He only sent a reference number for the transfer. Since the amount reached me and the name matched, I went ahead and released the trade.
After a few minutes, another person created a $100 buy request with me on another P2P platform, using the same trader name. This person marked the request as paid without making any payment. I asked him to pay or provide proof for verification, but he submitted a dispute and uploaded a screenshot of a payment that perfectly matched the payment I received in the previous Binance trade.$USDC

Fortunately, I had the transaction reference from Binance, so I won the dispute.
From now on, I always ask for clear proof of payment in the form of a screenshot.

Try not to use the same trader name on different platforms.
