Today I just decided to cut all the worthless coins I've been holding for months. My account nearly doubled, and I realized: I used to think futures were easier to lose, but holding spot and choosing wrong is even more exhausting — just clinging to the hope of 'breaking even' and making myself suffer.
The total loss is about 1 billion, in exchange for many months of stress, losing sleep. It feels no different from a gambler trying to recover their losses.
Looking back, I entered the market with a very naive mindset, listening to everyone and believing, only to pay the price for my own ignorance. Fortunately, I still have some capital left to rebuild, otherwise, if I continued to be stubborn, there would be nothing left.
Investing in worthless coins was indeed my biggest mistake. If anyone is still hesitating, I sincerely advise: just hold BTC for safety. If BTC drops a few percent, altcoins will plummet immediately. And absolutely don't trust the KOLs shouting on the internet. Just wait for BTC to return to a reasonable price range before entering, I think in the long term 80k is a reasonable target
