MemeX / Hive is shaping the next-gen SocialFi
In a way, I think it's true.
At least in terms of direction, what MemeX / Hive is stepping into right now really resembles where the future of SocialFi is headed, staying one step ahead of the market
Shifting from 'traffic' to 'relationships'. Today, I stumbled upon another project heading in the same direction.
The entire industry is facing the same issues right now:
AI overload
Bot saturation
Fake engagement
Data bubble
Attention becoming cheaper
So what will truly hold value in the future will definitely be:
Real people, communities, influence, relationship networks.
And much of what Hive is doing right now:
Buzz
Hive
ALIVE
Community relations
External outreach
Influence
Real interaction
Is essentially reinforcing:
The value of 'human' involvement.
Because a community that's fully active with real people is completely different from the 'fake engagement' created by bots.
Bots can only generate data.
But real people will:
Proactively spread the word
Bring in newcomers
Build circles
Stay active long-term
Create culture
Form relationship networks
These aspects are what truly enable a project to survive in the long run.
Especially once a community is formed, the project becomes more than just:
'A token'.
It slowly evolves into:
A genuinely vibrant community culture.
Building a long-lasting community network.
The truly impressive players now aren’t just those who shout the loudest.
But rather:
Those who can spread ideas effectively
Those who can build communities
Those who can form relationship networks
Those who can stay consistently active
Because in the future, many projects will find that it’s not about short-term hype anymore.
But rather:
Community density.
So I believe what’s most important now isn’t to go crazy collecting data.
But rather:
To cherish real human communities
To value genuinely active individuals
To appreciate those who create meaningful content
To nurture community atmosphere
Because these things will become increasingly scarce.
Many projects will find later on:
The hardest part isn’t the product.
But rather:
