Local media reported three explosions near Bandar Abbas in Iran, which Reuters linked to the new strikes by American military forces on an Iranian facility.

According to Reuters, citing an American official, the US armed forces intercepted drones launched from Iranian territory and conducted new strikes on an Iranian military site that reportedly posed a threat to American troops and commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
