$MON This operation summary
This time I experienced the complete process of Coinbase KYC, airdrop rules, and the pitfalls of trading on a new platform.
The size was around 4.8 WU, which was just at the sweet spot; on the morning of the 24th, when I saw 0.033, I thought it was a sure profit. However, by 9:50 PM it started to crash, and my mindset completely shattered. I hurried to sell my 1.9 million coins in batches.
It was my first time using Coinbase, and I didn’t notice that the transaction fee was as high as 70U. As a result, I lost 300U in just 3-4 transactions. In the end, I had about 5000U left, and I sold it at 0.029 around 23:00. This 5000U was within my risk tolerance, and my thinking was that since the selling pressure was high at the beginning, panic spread, and since I didn’t lose money in this round, I considered it a learning experience.

Streamlined Version
✅ What was done well
1. Proper size control: the position of around 50,000 was just right, and the remaining 5000U was also within an acceptable risk range.
2. Correct directional judgment: knowing that there would be significant selling pressure right after the airdrop, I dared to sell at 0.029 during the rebound.
3. Good control of rhythm: at least I didn’t panic and sell everything at the lowest point.
❌ What was not done well
1. No short hedging: My mentor reminded me that "after confirming the issuance quantity, you can short to lock in profits," but I didn’t reserve enough bullets and was a bit lazy to deploy, missing the safest profit-locking strategy.
2. Information overload: Absorbed too much noise on X, and my judgment was interfered with.
3. Airdrop ≠ Trading: I mixed the two logics together this time, which was a bit overwhelming, resulting in distorted operations.

Refined Conclusion
Although I didn’t lose this time, I fell into many "first-time using Coinbase" pitfalls. The takeaway is: use airdrop strategies for airdrops, and trading discipline for trading. Lock in profits when necessary, and stay calm when needed.
I can only say that you realize how good Binance is only after stepping out. Returning to Binance.
